There are so many myths and misunderstandings about the Mayflower, its passengers, and the English world from which they came. Alan will address the process, eligibility, challenges of membership in the Mayflower Society. You just might be one of the 31 million Mayflower Descendants ranging from Grace Slick of Jefferson Starship to the Presidents Bush and Angela Davis.

Alan Smith is active in numerous lineage, historic, and preservation organizations in several of which he holds local, State, and National leadership. He is the president of the Rock House Advisory Committee. He is excited that the Rock House Committee and the County Commission are in the process of its restoration and the development of sustaining funds to preserve the historic structure once restored. He and his wife Judy received the John Wilson Chapter DAR Preservation Award for the restoration of their home. Recently, they were surprised to find that their home has been featured in several online articles.
Limited seating to view the virtual presentation will be offered at Adamson Library.
