Seeking information about Jerry Ray Scott formerly Jerry Ray Bremmer or Sansom. Was adopted in approx 1983-1984 by Jim and Linda Scott of Vancouver, Wa. The Quinalt Indian Tribe of western WA, State was the tribe that had custody of Jerry and his sister Crystal. Prior to Jerry's adoptin Jerry and Crystal was placed in a the foster home of the Escalanta family. My great grandfather (William Fredrick Sample) co-owned a grocery store called "DICKS,LYON & SAMPLE" wholesale and retail groceries located at 901 Broad St. Augusta, Ga. at the turn of the century. I know it existed between 1906 till 1909. The only info. I have is that he contracted typhoid during the flood of 1909 and died May 23, 1909. Supposedly he had been working in the flooded basement of the store. I know he lived in North Augusta and was a charter member of the first Baptist church there. HATCHER - Looking for my mother's birth parents. My mother was born on September 28, 1940 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. She was adopted by Harry and Annie Hatcher. All I know is what my mother was told - that she was delivered by Dr. Will Jennings (Augusta's former Mayor), and that the Hatchers gave her the name Arlene Jennings Hatcher in tribute to Dr. Jennings who (and take this however you might) "Helped them get her [my mom]." We've theorized that my mom may have somehow been related to the doctor, or (and I'm not accusing here) that perhaps he had ties to Bea Hamilton. He was a widower in 1881 at the age of 47. I am trying to find out who his father was and who his wife was. HOWARD- I am searching for info on George J. Howard b.1831 in Augusta GA, d.1898 in Atlanta GA. Parents William H. Howard, Jr and Martha Webb Howard. George married Maria Louisa GOLDSMITH on 30 November 1853 in Cartersville GA. Maria Louisa b.1833 or 1834 in Greenville NC, d.1898 in Atlanta. George was a Lieutenant in Company 1st E 1st Gerogia Infantry during the Civil War, but so far I have been unable to confirm this. I would like to know the name of the cemetery where George and Maria are buried; I believe they are both buried in Augusta (perhaps a Howard family plot?). Any assistance would truly be appreciated. GAUDETTE - Seeking information on Andre or Andrew Gaudette, estimated birth 1896 in Lowell, MA. Married Helen in Lowell, MA in 1914. They had two children Henry and Jeanette. Helen died, unknown why. Hi, I am looking for anyone who may have any info on any of these family names. Barton,Wade,Foster,Brush or Brusher,Brazell,most of these would have lived in Augusta,Ga for the most part. I do have some info on some of these names but any info would be great help. the Barton's were from Jefferson ,County ,Ga PLEASE HELP here this has been a long hard search. and also does anyone know hoe to find out more about people in Augusta,GA I looked but nothing so far. Johns wife was Sidrena Marks. James married my grandmother Mary Ellen King Feb 1921 Grand Junction, Colo. they had 2 daughters Mary hannah fisher b. 12 4 1921 Anna Jane Fisher b. 1925 Mary in Green River,Ut. Anna in Price, Ut. any info would be helpful. Both daughters are still living.

Seeking information on John Thomas Dean born Cedartown, Georgia between 1830 and 1840 married Minnie Hood possible there or in Houston, Miss. had a daughter Mary Elizabeth Dean Feb 28 1877 Houston, Miss. She married Willie Powell together they went to Texas where Willie and Lizzie had a daughter Golden. Then on to Jumbo, Ok. where John died. don't know the death date. Two other children were born to Wille and Lizzie Delmar Hayden Powell March 26 1907 he died in Green River, Utah Oct 18 1978 The other son was Elmer Powell i don't have a birth or a death date on him. any information would be helpful.
