Like To Submit a Query for our Query Page?
Due to the ever-increasing number of spam entries to the
Self-Posting Query Page it has become necessary for us to remove the
self-posting capability. We have changed the method we use back to the
previous method where visitors e-mail their queries to our queries account.
Returning to this method will result in a delay between when a query is
submitted and when our technical editor edits and posts it to the Query Page,
so please be patient.

65,000 Individual-Name Index.
In case you didn't know, the Augusta Genealogical Society began
publishing its official journal, Ancestoring, in 1980. Each
issue contains several thousands of individual-name entries from
cemeteries, churches and other rich resource records in the Central
Savannah River Area of Georgia and South Carolina. A cumulative
index of Volumes I through X contains approximately 65,000 individual-name
entries from old records that have appeared in the first 10 volumes
of Ancestoring. All 13 Volumes include historical background
articles, cemetery articles, cemetery inscriptions from St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church, Magnolia Cemetery,
Cedar Grove Cemetery, courthouse records, naturalizations and more.
